Christmas Parade 2022

A great time was had by all. It was a beautiful day with beautiful Pyrs! Thank you to all that attended.

Join Appalachian Great Pyrenees Rescue to usher in the holiday season! We will be walking in the Little Washington, VA parade on Sunday, December 4. Parade starts at 1:00 p.m. and we’d like to all meet around noon. This parade is part of Rappahannock’s annual Christmas in Little Washington and this year’s theme is “It’s a Wonderful Life Rappahannock”. There are lots of exciting things going on from 11:00am-4:00pm. There are artisan’s markets and the annual Christmas Market at the Inn at Little Washington along with food, music, pony rides and of course the parade. The parade Horses and Hounds, Antique Cars, Fun Floats, followed by SANTA himself riding in a lovely horse-drawn carriage all parade through the streets of Little Washington to Avon Hall. Of course, the parade will be complete with the AGPR big fluffies strutting their stuff. So, grab your fluffy and join in the fun.
