October 3 – Ashland Petco (Rt. 1 and Rt. 54) adoption event.  Come help us celebrate Petco’s 50th anniversary.  We’ll be there with the Pyrs from 11 – 2.

October 10 – Ashland Petco (Rt. 1 and Rt. 54) adoption event from 11 – 2.

October 23 – Spa Day at AGPR kennels.  Hermitage High School’s Vet Tech students are coming out to help walk, groom and (weather permitting) bathe dogs.  We are excited…the students did an awesome job last Spring and we can’t wait to have them back with us!
We could use a few volunteers to help us – take photographs, keep track of dogs, etc.  If you are willing to help, please contact Celeste at agpr-news@verizon.net.  I know the dogs would love and appreciate your help!

Come hang with fellow Pyr owners and enjoy food, fellowship and fun. We’ll raise funds for AGPR with a suggested $10 donation, raffles, flea market and more. Varina High School Student Volunteers
They are coming to learn and help. They have been delightful to have and are amazing workers. They are learning about cleaning and grooming, a little bit of training and a lot about multi tasking. The dogs are loving their new friends!
